Install from a USB stick
Update Wayglass or add a product without a computer in the car: enter your code, download the archive and plug in the stick.
When it works
- Wayglass has been installed on this car from a computer at least once — that is how the server knows the head unit. The first installation is from a computer.
- The installation code of the product you are installing. A code of a product that is already installed works too — for an update.
- A USB stick formatted as FAT32. Any small one will do.

How to install
Prepare the stick
Format it as FAT32 or use a stick that is FAT32 already. Other files on it do no harm.
Unpack the archive to the root of the stick
A wayglass folder appears on the stick — do not rename it or put it inside another folder. Unpack several archives (different products) to the same place.
Plug the stick into the car
Into the USB port with NBT switched on. The stick is detected within 25 seconds; then Wayglass installs by itself and restarts the head unit if needed. No need to press anything.
Check the result
After the restart, take the stick out. What was installed, or why it failed, is in the wayglass/out folder on the stick.
If something goes wrong
- Nothing happens — check that the stick is FAT32 and the wayglass folder is right in the root. Take the stick out and plug it in again: Wayglass handles each insertion once.
- The head unit restarted but nothing changed — see the result file in wayglass/out: the reason is there.
- Installing from a computer works as before — with the installer.
